C'è chi crede che il movimento degli Orsi sia originato da un feticismo estetico superficiale per pancia e pelo o che sia il frutto dell’esigenza di una comunità di individui che, a causa del loro aspetto fisico, cercano un loro ghetto per sentirsi a proprio agio e apprezzati, si sbaglia di grosso.
Innanzitutto il mondo BEAR ha molteplici protagonisti ognuno con la propria “identità estetica”:
Ne fanno parte dei generi opposti come quello dei teneri TEDDYBEARS o CHUBBY – ovvero quella categoria di orsi molto corpulenti che si contraddistinguono per la tenerezza e dolcezza dell’aspetto – ai più imponenti e dall’apparenza aggressiva GRIZZLY.
Vi troviamo i CHASER o cacciatori - che non sono corpulenti ma amanti del genere ursino - come i MUSCLE BEARS massicci e muscolosi nel fisico.
Vi sono i CUBS od Orsetti - che in genere sono panciuti, ma non troppo, e pelosi, con pizzetto o barba - e le LONTRE che si distinguono per la rasatura dei capelli e un aspetto non robusto - per arrivare sino ai POLAR BEARS o DADDY ovvero gli uomini maturi e corpulenti, con barba e capelli brizzolati o bianchi, i quali somigliano, nell’aspetto, agli orsi polari.
Ciò che accomuna tutte queste categorie è semplicemente la voglia di essere se stessi e di non preoccuparsi della propria fisicità o di seguire dei modelli estetici o comportamentali precostituiti.
Aldilà di tutte queste classificazioni pittoresche, tipiche del linguaggio di questo universo, possiamo affermare che una risposta precisa alla domanda “che cos’è un orso?”, non si può dare.
L’unica risposta ammissibile è questa: essere ORSO è un attitudine, un modo di vivere la propria sessualità, un modo di essere.
Di una cosa però siamo certi: il movimento ursino rappresenta la libertà nel vivere la propria diversità sessuale, sociale e fisica.NikyBo e b3|hunter

What joins all these categories is simply the wish be hes themselves and not to be worried about its Phisical or follow some aesthetic or behavioural Precostituiti models.
